Criteria for hotel referrals for unsheltered individuals needing COVID-19 related isolation:
1) Have tested positive for COVID-19 OR
2) Have been exposed to COVID-19 / experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 OR
3) Have an increased risk of contracting COVID-19 due to previous medical history / age
Instructions for how to refer an unsheltered person to isolation housing is on the Alameda County Public Health Department Operation Comfort webpage.
There are no hotel vouchers available at this time, however, the City is working to expand housing availability.
SUPPLY REQUESTS:
· SHELTERS AND NON-MEDICAL ORGANIZATIONS : Submit supply requests including those for personal protective equipment to Blanca Leggett at [email protected]. There is a national shortage of many critical supplies, so expect delays with delivery.
· HEALTH CARE FACILITIES (e.g., hospitals, health centers): Submit your requests directly through the Alameda County EMS Covid-19 Resource Request Form
